Cora's 6.5 hour surgery was complicated, but she survived.
They've said she'll probably be on a ventilator for a very long time... we don't yet know what that means. Just that her lungs are damaged from her heart problems, and recovery will be slow and dangerous. All along they've said that post-op will be the most difficult part of her treatment and the time when we'll be most at risk for losing her. So we're not done praying yet.
But, she made it through the surgery, and we're holding on to hope.
Thank you so much for lifting us up. If it were just the handful of us at the foster home carrying this burden, I don't think any of us could make it. But we know you're behind us, holding up our arms like Aaron did with Moses. (Exodus 17:10-13)

I don't have words...so thankful comes to mind, but it's not enough. Nor is "desperately clutching" onto God. I'll keep praying hard for this little one who is so precious to me...us, rather! :)
We're still praying, too. God doesn't do things part way, and so we are standing in faith along with you ~ believing for a miracle and quick healing/recovery that leaves the doctors and surgeons taking notice yet again...so that in the end, all glory points to Him! I fully trust that He will see her through! <><
Blessings and Hugs,

Praying for you all!
What a privilege to be a small part in this little one's life...through the vehicle of prayer. God will be glorified in her life. I just know it.
Praying here too, no other way to help out right now.
Praise God! We will continue praying for Cora.
We continue to pray for Cora as she walks the road ahead...May the Lord continue to amaze us with His mercies!
He hears our prayers and petitions on behalf of sweet Cora and I am fully trusting that His perfect plans for her include full recovery. Thank you for the update, she has been on my heart.
