Thanks, Carrie, for your comment on my blog! You're right that I live in an area that is abundantly blessed with natural beauty. I think I appreciate it more because of the fact that for a number of years, we lived in urban settings (San Diego, CA...and then Tel Aviv, Israel) and did not have the opportunity to live as close to nature as we do now. The different seasons of life help me to be grateful for variety, and my season of living in cities has helped me to be grateful now for grass and trees and streams and space! But I also miss some things about the city, too.
Anyway, many blessings to you all as you serve there in God's garden. :)
