A DOGgone Goodbye

Jess, we don't want you to go.  And neither does our dog.

LeLe LOVES going to the parties in New Day's backyard.  It means 40+ people who are (mostly) willing to shower her with affection and the occasional table scrap.  I just thought this picture from our going-away party for Jess was really cute... of both of them.

I'm really not the kind of person who takes my dog to social events. (Though I guess the picture suggests otherwise.)  I'm just lazy.  If I get one of my friend's kids to stop by my apartment and pick up our dog on her way to the parties that always happen immediately after work, LeLe gets like 2 hours outside and I don't have to walk her when I get home.  Hmmmm... which is worse - being "that kind of person" or admitting to sheer laziness?

We're doing well here.  For the first time in five months, I've had 2 days in a row where I felt like my normal self!  I'm super-excited about that.

I love that picture (and not just because it was in focus)! I'm going to miss Jess so much, I might just have to blog about it too!

It is a cute picture! And don't worry...you have a very legitimate excuse for being lazy these days! :) I am glad you're starting to feel "normal" though. That's such a nice feeling after months of fatigue and sickness!

I made it onto your blog! I feel like I've achieved rock star status ;)

Miss you a lot and miss your hyper dog, too :) My aunt in Hong Kong has a dog that looks a bit like her, except he's black and white and his name is Friday (He was a stray and she found him on a Friday).

Love that picture and love you!
